Checks are payable to "Augusta Rowing
Club". Entries that lack the required entry
fee will be returned.
There will be a $5.00 processing fee per entry for registration via
mail.

Entry Fees
Fees for registration
online are as follows: Singles: $25.00 Doubles/Pairs: $35.00
Fours $55.00 Quads: $50.00
Eights: $65.00.
Fees for registration via mail are as follows: Singles: $30.00 Doubles/Pairs: $40.00
Fours $60.00 Quads: $55.00
Eights: $70.00. There
is a fee cap of $700.00 per organization.
Fees must be paid in U.S. dollars.
Deadlines
All entries must be RECEIVED by midnight
Saturday November 6, 2004 electronically or by mail. No phone entries will be accepted.
Late Entries
Late entries will be accepted only if
space permits. A $30 late fee, per boat, must accompany any late
entry, in addition to the standard entry fee. Late entry fees must be
paid at time of regatta registration and check-In. Checks are made
payable to “Augusta Rowing Club”.
Scratches / Withdrawals
Entries withdrawn in writing
and received before midnight, November 8, 2004, will have the entry fees refunded.
After this time there will be a scratch fee of $30.00 per boat.
Regatta
Registration/Check-In -
Friday, November
12
Check-in begins Friday, November 12, 2004, from 3 pm
to 7 pm. All clubs, collegiate organizations, or scullers must send
one designated representative only to check-in. This representative shall
be responsible for all registration material, including race
packets, waivers, and paying the balance due
on entry fees. The designated representative must check-
in, sign out race packets, provide waivers, and
pay any balance due at Regatta Headquarters located in the registration building
near the launch site. Additional entries and scratches must be
made at this time. No exceptions
are made for any deadline or registration procedure.
Additional Registration will be available from 6:30 am
to 10 am on Race Day at Regatta headquarters for any scullers and designated crew representatives who have pre-registered
and prepaid.
Waivers
Please Note:
Each competitor must execute a Rowing
Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity
Agreement (the “Release and Waiver”) in order to row in the regatta.
Among other things, the Release and Waiver releases the Head of the
South Regatta and US Rowing from all liability claims, damages or losses. The
blank forms may be copied as necessary. At registration, the regatta
committee must receive an executed Release and Waiver form from each
participating competitor. COMPETITORS WHO ARE MINORS (UNDER 18),
INCLUDING COMPETITORS IN SCULLING EVENTS, MUST HAVE THEIR
RELEASE AND WAIVER EXECUTED BY THEIR PARENT AND/OR LEGAL GUARDIAN.
Waivers must be brought to regatta
registration for each participating competitor.
