for the
2008 Augusta
Invitational Regatta. The 2008 regatta committee is
pleased to announce that the
25th annual regatta will be held on March 15 at Langley Pond.
Langley Pond
is an enclosed body of water with
a 2000 meter fully-buoyed, 6 lane course in Aiken
County, South Carolina. This site has has hosted several national
team speed orders and time trials, and it is the current
location for multiple regattas each year. The water is flat
and the course is very fair.
This will be the tenth
year that the regatta will be co-sponsored by Aiken County.
Aiken
County is assisting the regatta committee with hotel accommodations,
directions, maps, parking, and site preparation.
