2008 Fall Calendar
 
       
Practice begins at 4:00pm and ends at 6:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.  Exceptions due to holidays and school calendar are noted below.  All rowers are expected to atttend each day for the full practice time.  All rowers are expected to attend all regattas as assigned.  Absenses must be pre-approved by the head coach.   
       
Registration Forms are due beginning the first day of practice.  You can print them from the website at www.augustarowingclub.org and leave them in the Drop Box at the Boathouse or mail them to the Boathouse at                     101 Riverfront Drive, Augusta, GA 30901
       
Plan ahead for SAT test dates (noted below) and other potential conflicts (prom, Social, etc.) so that your rower can be at every regatta.
       
August 11 MON Practice begins for all rowers - swim test for new rowers Everyone Practices
**Registration Forms must be turned in before your child will be allowed on the water**
Walk-ons welcome throughout season - contact Head Coach
  19 TUE Open House at the Boathouse 6:00-8:00pm  Cookout and Tours Everyone Practices
September 1 MON Labor Day Holiday - Columbia, Richmond & Aiken Counties No Practice
  15 MON 1st Payment of rowing fees due $200 drop box or mail to Boathouse
  18 THU Early Release - Columbia County Everyone Practices
  23 TUE Team Photos - Everyone wear your team shirt and khaki pants  
  25 THU Parent Meeting at the Boathouse 6:00pm  
October 1 WED 2nd Payment of rowing fees due $150 - drop box or mail in  
  4 SAT SAT Testing  
  14 TUE Teacher Work Day - Aiken County Everyone Practices
  16 THU Student Holiday - Columbia County No Practice
  17 FRI Student Holiday  - Columbia & Richmond Counties No Practice
  27 MON Teacher Inservice - Aiken County Everyone Practices
  24 FRI 4:00pm Depart from Ashley Furniture (230 Robert C Daniel Jr Pkwy – next to Regal 20 Cinema)
  25 SAT Head of the Tennessee - charter bus Oak Ridge, TN
  31 FRI 9:00am Depart from Ashley Furniture (230 Robert C Daniel Jr Pkwy – next to Regal 20 Cinema)
November 1 SAT Head of the Hooch - charter bus Chattanooga, TN
