Varsity Women's
Coach: Jason HeroldMy coaching
experience began in 1997 and over the years I have worked with the
novice women, novice men, but primarily with the varsity women. We
have won several regional championships in all different classes of
boats.
I was born in Kentucky, but grew up in
Augusta. I graduated from Evans High School and then rowed for 3
years in college. I competed at the Head of the Charles.
Currently, I work at MCG as Pediatric Transport Coordinator. My
favorite thing to do when I’m not rowing is hanging out with my
children. Taylor is 4 and Chase is 2.
My philosophy on coaching is that you should
enjoy rowing and life, but remember to be successful in both and you
will have to work hard.
Assistant Varsity Women's Coach: Brett Shealy

I am a 21 year old student at Augusta State
University. I have plans to graduate within the next year with a
Marketing and International Business degree. I will then continue
my education to get an MBA. I have rowed for the Augusta Junior
Rowing Team for 2 ½ years in high school in which we achieved the
opportunity to go to Nationals in Cincinnati.
