Joining Our Youth Rowing Team

There are currently FIVE opportunities to experience rowing, tryout for the team, and join a squad during each calendar year.  Generally anyone from the eighth grade and up can tryout.  Occasionally we will accept an above average seventh grader on the team; however, they need to characteristically more mature than other students in their peer group. At any time during the year, you may Contact Us ahead of time to watch a practice or talk with the coaches.  If you want to see the sport up close, this is a great opportunity to ride with a coach in a motor boat. Please check our Youth Rowing Team Webpage for general and specific information, frequently asked questions, directions and other links.

Opportunity One:  Summer 2007 Camp, June 18-22

In the summer, the team will host 1 Camp from Monday June 18 through Friday June 22 from 8 am to 12 noon each day.  This camp is set up to introduce local youth to the sport and allow them a chance to see if they want to pursue it competitively the following Fall.  The cost is $85.00 for the week which includes one t-shirt ($45.00 of this fee is a non-refundable deposit due when registering).  Please download and fill out a Waiver (pdf) and 2007 Summer Camp Registration (pdf).  You may bring them with you on the first day or you may mail them to the address on the registration form.  Please Contact Us if you have more questions.
