How Do I Join the Program

Becoming apart of the Fall 2005 Team

You are encouraged to attend the Parent and Rower Open House and Orientation Meeting on August 16 at 630pm at the Boathouse.  At this meeting you will be given forms to fill out to begin the registration process. You can meet the coaches on staff, rowers,  current parents of rowers, and the parents  who run the program. You will learn about the program at this meeting,  ask any questions, and tour the boathouse.  Typically we explain how everything works from regattas and travel to commitment and scheduling.

If you cannot attend this meeting or if you have questions please contact the following people below:

Becoming apart of the Spring 2006 Team

While the majority of rowers join during the fall, some will join at this time who play other sports during the fall.  This season tentatively starts in January depending upon the particular squad and level of skill. For more information about joining during  this season you may contact the people listed above. They can answer your questions and contact the appropriate coaches to create a slot on the team.

Summer 2006

This is a noncompetititive season for those rowers who wish to participate in the sport during the summer. There are generally fewer practices during the week and the races are much more laid back requiring less preparation.  During the summer, the program offers summer camps for local youth.  These camps are set up to introduce youth to the sport and allow them a chance to see if they want to pursue it competitively the following Fall.
