Facility and
Equipment
Students that choose to join our program will train in one
of the best facilities on the East Coast. Our boathouse has a
national reputation. We have trained numerous Olympians, we
have hosted the U.S. National Team, and we are premier destination
for university teams that train during spring break. Our
equipment is some of the finest in the Southeast, and this allows us
to prepare well-trained athletes. We have a complete weight room
located inside our boathouse with free weights and machines.
We have complete rest room facilities with bathrooms, showers, and
locker storage. The Augusta Rowing Club maintains a fleet of
nearly every class of rowing shell. Many of our competition
boats are designed with the latest racing composite technology with
carbon fiber for faster, lighter weight racing hulls.
