Renting the Boathouse Banquet Room and Rowing Club Room The Boathouse, located downtown at 101 Riverfront Drive and overlooking the Savannah River, has two rooms available for rent throughout the year. The Banquet Room is a large room with a maximum capacity of 450. It has a dance floor, stage, and full kitchen for catering. This room is operated by the Augusta Parks and Recreation Department. You may call Carla McFeely at (706) 821-2870, (706) 821 1812, or (706) 796 5025 for more information. The Rowing Club Room is a small room with a maximum capacity of 100. This is a 1600 sq. ft. social room located upstairs in the boathouse, and it may be used as a multi-purpose room with an outside deck overlooking the Savannah River. This scenic location offers a relaxing setting ideal for small parties, anniversaries, receptions, and group or business meetings. This room is operated by the Augusta Rowing Club. You may call the rowing club manager at (706) 821 2875 for more information. The general public may rent the Rowing Club Room for $75 when rented in conjunction with an event in the Banquet Room. The Club Room may not be rented individually except by member of the Augusta Rowing Club. A refundable clean up confirmation / damage deposit of $100 is required for each rental.
